View Full Version : Habbo UK Staff Selling on eBay

Apparently the Habbo UK staff are selling some items on eBay to raise money for charity.

I first heard about this yesterday from Universe on his HabboHarmony radio show. I more recently heard it from tleftye who also said that it was infact for charity.

The eBay user ID is ekalus8 (that's Sulake backwards). As far as I can tell, there are five lots for sale. CLICK (http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/ekalus8/).

Edit: THIS IS REAL LIFE MATERIAL. NOT PIXELS. Fgs.

I wouldn't trust this at all until I hear this from a few reliable members, for all we know this could be a big scam? It's also not using the official eBay charity option, which guarantee's the money received is sent by eBay to the charity, and not through the seller, it also means Paypal don't tax it.

This could be a scam and if the auctions where legitimate they would use the eBay Charity system.

It's also against eBay's terms and conditions to sell 'Pixel' items off any online games as an auction, wherever you own them or not :P

Its official because if you do the poll in the safety place thing it tells you that theyre moving offices (next door) and that theyre selling some stuff and give you the address

And its real life stuff, theyre not selling furni, theyre selling office furniture from their offices

It is true, UKChaserAl was saying today that they'd sign it, and even give out some Habbo credits. I didn't even think he worked at the office but whatever. I don't know what anyone would do with a signed chair though. I suppose you could sit on it... probably get ink all over your *** though.

"HABBO ARE SELLING STUFF ON EBAY!
Our name is ekalus8, so feel free to bid on the items. Since we love you all so much if you win let us know you are a habbo and you may find some extras inside! Also let us know if you want any item signing by any of the staff members and we will oblige... good luck!"

"NOTE: We are NOT selling Habbo furni as this is illegal. Anyone doing so will be permanently banned"

There :) You get a small furni bonus if you buy from Habbo :D

It'd be funny to actually get it signed by a habbo staff and then sell to some desperate person, prob for same or little bit more. Anyway, there not actually the stuff that we'd want signing, like the bar stools, we'd want to sit on them, not like have them signed. They might be super famous one day LOL. They should so sign a bit a paper mate! ;)

Decap - They're still using Habbo to advertise it lol, anyway but all the fundings go charity, i'm suprised they don't use Sulake's money to donate LOL, they got enough of it :P.

Those chairs seem ok, but collection in person is a bit pointless.

Anyway.. why do office staff always think they're celebs with real life gifts ect..

'we'll sign it for you'

***..

No delivery is a bit dumb. You should at least have the option to pay extra for delivery.

Why not just donate money yourself to some charity and let someone else buy it who want's it then you get x2 the money for charity?

Why not? Because you have to collect it in person. I hope "Essex" is near them ;).

They are asking us which charity they should do and that they are moving (next door!):
I chose RSPCA obviously. I love pets.
