For PlayTV coming to PS3 this year, for £99 I beleive.

Pause, Rewind, Record, Fastforward, and watch Live TV through your PS3 :) You can then access the programs you've recorded through the PS3, or through the PSP via remote play! :)

Yea but I mean it seems a bit pointless, I guess it is cheaper than digital TV since that's monthly fees but you could just have a Sky+ or Virgin+ box or something

Xbox is getting something called IPTV anyway, I don't think it has as many features but you don't really need that stuff anyway

That's only rumoured... and if its released it'll really **** off current 360 owners, because they've already upgraded to a Elite or only just bought a Premium etc. :rolleyes:

Yeah it is, run by BT. But it doesnt have the ability to watch, record, pause or whatever Live TV, I think its just a download service, like BBC iPlayer or 4OD

Who really cares? It's still TV, don't even try to make the PS3 look good just because of a few extra features on something that seems like a waste of money , most people have digital boxes now so I highly doubt the PlayTV and IPTV will actually be very useful at all

Its just freeview? You can buy freeview boxes with a 40GB hardrive from £40 anyway so its cheaper to just buy one of those.
