Why Are DRAGON Eggs Called Dinos/Dino Eggs? >_>

When it was released it was called the 'Spyro egg'. This was because they were given away as part of a promotional event for the release of the spyro the dragon game :)

Maybe because "Dragon Egg" takes too long to type, so people just say Dino?

It's just changed over time, most probably where custom furni names were reset with V13, I think ;)

You realise that nothing any of you are saying makes sense? How does "Spyro the Dragon" satisfy it being called a Dino egg? Spyro the Dragon was a D-R-A-G-O-N. The original furni was released as a Dragon egg. The term Dino I assume was made purely by idiots who don't know the difference between a mythical creature and a real animal.

It was like the Lego sports furni, on the basket ball net it did have the lego logo but after the promotion they removed it, after the spyro promotion they changed the name.

That doesn't make sense at all. A dinosaur and a dragon are not the same animals, I don't know if you've ever seen pictures of either of them but I assure you they're different. I could call a club sofa a rat to make it easier, but there's no connection!

I'm not the one calling a dragon egg a dino, I supposed someone started selling like "Selling dino" and gradually people started to sell them as dinos.

As Robald has said, they used to be called Dino Eggs. When I first started habbo in May 2006, I saw one and it was called Dragon Egg.


Also people moaning about the Club Sofa's being called HC. Its because they used to be called 'HC Sofa' and the name is still going on now. The exact same with the Dragon Egg. (Club Sofa's are mostly called pure :))


When you think about it, why do people say, selling 'Green Dragon' when its 'Elf Green Dragon Lamp'? Its because it shortens the name. Same as Vanilla Ice Cream Maker, which we call, Gold Icm.
