Right, I've just restarted the design for my Step Dad's car site. Which is all about his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo as well as his friends. Basically I've came up with a layout that he likes and everything, banner good, background good, content area good, browse good, the actual content CRAP. So I'm seeing if anyone can give me a bit of help with how I should display the actual content.

As you can see when you click that it shows a "Welcome" post on the right. This is the area myself and step dad want freshened up. As we can't release a site to the Mitsubishi Owners Club that looks awful after we've bigged it up. I want to go with the whole calendar to display the date idea like I have, just need to improve the image.
What would be perfect is if someone could draw a mockup on Paint, Photoshop or whatever and post it. Then I can try it out.
