If he has better things to do in life he could tell someone rather then just leaving without saying anything. Even with personal problems a nice pm would be appreciated by many I bet

What are they dropping everything that they have to do in a week just to send a few emails? How exactly are they contacting him..? Either way it doesn't consume all of their time.. unless they are sending pointless emails/calls/whatever over and over and over and over.
One is fine.

Maybe these better things are preventing him from telling anyone. Maybe he's on holiday and just forgot to say. If it is personal problems, you don't know what kind of problem it is yet. Stop jumping to conclusions. I'm sure he has a reason.

Okay. Let's say he's stranded on an island and has no way of contacting anyone from Habbox Forum. That shouldn't stop the forum completely and cause all these delays and stuff. If someone hasnt done their job in a day or two then someone needs to step in and take over until they are back. 8 days and still nothing done is ridiculous. I'm not jumping to conclusions about anything.

People need to stop using "they also have lives!" (no offense) because honestly if your life is so busy and there's so much to do then why would you even take a management position on a clearly demanding forum?

it was complained about a few days ago and I dont Nick has been on for a week now which is most unusal. I remember when Micky left Joshuar helped out for a bit.

I can see that they don't want too many people having too many admin powers but VIP is a service that people pay for and there should be checks to see it is being done and if not get somebody like Joshuar to cover. That's my view. :)

No one said his life was so busy, but something has obviously happened to make it busy at the moment so he can't come online.

Also, why do people need to stop saying that? It's the truth. Who puts Habbox before their life? Answer me that.

I'm not talking about Nick I was talking about other management or whatever because you said "Other management could be busy with other things and they also have lives" (sorry if I mis-quoted)

Obviously something is going on if he hasn't been on for 8 days and no one can contact him. That's no excuse for the Forum management (or, once again, whoever takes care of the forum) to keep the forum in delay. As Catzy said VIP is a feature that people pay for and I think that should be a very high priority for the forum. I know he's going to look into it but when is something going to actually happen?

@the edit part where you said "who puts habbox before their life" - no one probably. You don't have to put habbox before your life to send a 10-30 second PM or email explaining that you can't get to it or whatever you choose to say.

and again I know Nick could have something serious going on, that's why I'm not attacking him

That is a possibility but why don't they have people who are on the forum, doing their duties everyday to take over for a few days? It's not like its asking them to do two jobs for the rest of their life.. just until they find a permanent replacement (If needed)

You're right.. this type of thing doesn't always happen but there's ALWAYS a chance and they should always be prepared. If half the admins are inactive then they should really start thinking about hiring and firing.

Anywho, after much deliberation behind a Windows based PC attempting to sort out the various error messages and hardware problems I've been having over the last week or so on top of the incorrect router settings I had for quite some time I have returned. The exact nature of the problems are now irrelevant, the important thing is that they are fixed... I hope.
It was entirely my fault, management were not involved in any way, shape or form, I had very few options in terms of getting in contact with those who I could notify of these problems and I am entirely to blame for that.
Business resumes as normal effective immediately, starting with the VIP features/name changes that I have neglected so poorly over the last week. :)

It was mainly Windows I had such a problem with. Every few minutes it would throw up an error message about various different issues which were made worse by the hardware failures I had to deal with. Pretty much every time I attempted to fix a software related error the whole computer went stone dead and did an unexpected reboot due to the hardware problems. Even when idle and I was off doing something else it would spontaneously restart. :eusa_wall
I would never go back to AOL, not after what it did to one of my previous computers. :P

Please do not tell members that they have broken a rule, instead simply use the report a post function.

Edited by Agesilaus (Forum Super Moderator): Please do not comment on users breaking the rules. If you think someone has broken the rules, use the post report button instead.
