on my site i have just made the whole layout like an expanding box but on some pages the bar at the side doesnt stretch, so ive got bits of the background coming through it should look like this normally
www.xenigma.co.uk
but on some pages
www.xenigma.co.uk/index.php?page=news
the bar at the side doesnt work, anybody know how i can get around this problem? :s :s :s
ive tried adding bgcolor="#mycolor" to the table but it doesnt work and the colors are different in different browsers ive also used this in my style sheet

.bars {
background-image: url(tablebackground.gif);
background-repeat: repeat;
} :s :s :s

Oh yea. lol i thoght they were part of the layout.

Humm try adding them to the tables, using the old html background attribute "/ rather than the css. and see if that works any better "/

take the css off them and they should work.
i dectived css, and it all came out fine. i think its becuse the css overrides the background= tags wich are the ones doing it correctly, so just removed there csss attribiutes then give it a go "/
