If you haven't done it already I'd tell your close friends first, it gets easier every time you tell someone :D You won't really have to tell your parents unless you start going out with a guy lol. I had the same problem and used to stay out veryyy late at night with guys and my parents started to get worried so I told them I was gay and said I should've just let them stay over or whatever. You don't really have to tell your parents ever, and if you do they won't love you any less for it :p

i think we've established this.
my best friend was really worried about telling her parents as her father is a muslim. but she told people in stages, like her nan, grandad, mum then she asked them to all to be there when she told her dad.
everything turned out fine. just pluck up the courage, and tell the parent that you find talking to is easier
