48 Hour Trial Help +Rep

My XBL Gold Ran out yesturday, so I thought I'd use one of my Trial's to tide me over till I can get to a shop. I went on active code and typed it in, then it said that it had been activated, but my profile stays Silver. I only have one profile on the xbox so its not like another account is accidently using it. When I go on Subscriptions (or is it account?) Manager, it shows it and "Xbox Live Silver Membership" below. I tried to make it the "Main" subscription but theres no option to.

Help?

Hmm sounds wierd, So the 48 hour code wasnt scratched off or anything?
Are you doing redeem code btw? on the live page?

go into you live settings and you should see subscription then it should say redeem somewhere there, you dont do it in marketplace i believe!
