Need serious advice, no sillyness please

Police arrested me yestarday at school on criminal damage charges (graffiti). they found out my tag and traced it to over 300 diffrent spots around thanet. They have cautined me and got given 10 hours community service becuase my mum asked them to punish me! :@.

only thign is i stopped doing graffiti like 1 and half months ago.....how could i prove i havnt done it for that long and sum1 copying my tag?

I think that after they see it and stuff they can't really pin it on you since they didn't catch you at the time.. and it could've happened before the incident.. they can't really tell..

Either way; once you do the time just don't do it anymore or be a little sneakier and it should be fine.

Well if you wanted to prove a point to the police, then as much as this may sound rash, this is what you can do which will help earn some respect from nearly everyone, and clear your name at the same time.

Ask the police since you feel you're telling the truth about not doing anymore graffitic taggings, to place you under house arrest for as long as a month, only attending school and getting a lift off your parents home. It sounds extreme, but when you want to prove a point in this government, you have to make sacrifices. Either that, or give them every single piece of spray paint gear you have and do your service.

If it happens again, your mum can back you up and so can the police actually since they've got the cans & gear, plus your mum can say you haven't been out much anyway. =P
