Yup..! If you look on the runescape part, I got someone to "power level" my account. As the user as alot of rep, I thought that he would be trusted; but this was not to be.

:O That's sad running away with 5HC.
Furniture stealing is getting serious isn't it?
I was hacked on habbo UK and the person ran away with over £120 worth of furniture and I didn't give my password out.

lol don't trust people until they have vouches, could be difficult who need to earn trust but it's the safest way.
Even with vouches, i got scammed. I had a mod overlook the trade and that and they still didnt do anything about it

Oh dear :( I think that the person ought to have several different people vouching. Could you think of a way that would make trading safer for members?

Anything with the word "virtual" is not safe. It is nearly impossible to find someone who is safe, I for one can tell you that with years of experience.

What annoys me is the fact that this user still uses Habbox on a daily basis and has a large quantity of rep.. Scammer shouldn't be allowed it; regardless if they pay for it.

The safest way would just be the vouches.. I couldn't really think of another way other then people proving that this person has gone second before and not scammed.

Yes its virtual furniture, but the sad thing is people buy the furniture they hacked of them for money (paypal)
So its like a job to them really if you get me.

Maybe a new feature should be made available on Habbox Forum? On the profile (or indeed, the thread view) youc an see who is a trusted trader by an image located underneath Join Date etc. It wouldn't be hard to set-up as long as you have a few trade experts to tell you who are trusted, who will then forward the member to someone who can edit the members profile. It wouldn't even be considered rude or patronising to traders trying to trade, because they could earn respect (and the trusted trader mention) when someone risks finding it out.
But alas, such a feature would be too much hassle for HxF...

I'd be up for it.. just as long as people don't "buy their trading reputation"

Wow. 200t? Don't believe you sorry.
And anyways, is this turning into one of them Ebay thingies?
You know, when they had that fuss about 'negative feedback' etc.
And how bad people force their victims to give them 'good feedback'.
