What do you lot on here do to soothe your muscle aches after the gym?
I've got it atm, more annoying then painful really.

It's good that you are aching. They say that a good session at the gym should always leave you in some sort of pain.

if you ache it's because your muscles have slightly torn and stuff and then they repair themselves stronger - something like that anyway, what i got told. maybe a hot bath and early night? idk, i always just lounged around when i got back from gym so i didn't find it too bad.

As the other guys said.. Warm bath, early night, no choking the chicken, you get the point :)
Just learn to enjoy the pain, I rather like post-gym aches.
Or have a lovely warm bath :)

I think I overworked myself at the gym yesterday. Probably have some degree of muscle damage/tear. Can't really do much with my arms at the moment.
gaaaah.
I always go for a light swim post-gym. It's a good warm down :).

its nothing to do with a shower or a hot bath o.O
its lactic acid in muscles
you need to get it out before you relax

Lactic acid causes cramps, not the day-after aches, which can be helped with a hot bath.

take a bath with salts in it
and im not sure if what your gym routine is but you shouldnt work all your muscles
ie; work 1 set of muscles(exp legs) then work another set the next day
