You won't be able to tell the difference.
Its all based on a video camera so the cameras moving all over the place.. takes a while to get used to.

We were going to see it tonight, but it was sold out (i think it was starting tonight)
i saw trailer on utube and it looked like the blair witch project but with cgi, felt a bit sick.

The camera survives:

Numbers of drops
A helicopter crash
Dropped when man gets eaten/killed
Bridge lands on it
Big bomb

I so want one :p

a lot of critic reviews said it felt like a wanna-be knock off of The Host. and i heard from some people who saw it that they felt like puking after it was done because of the camera, haha.

but idk. seems kinda lame to me really. the idea has been done a few too many times i think.

Yeah but is it good because my sister doesn't wanna watch it because she says "Its gonna be crap because its a camcorder all the way through it"

Is it a good quality camcorder? LOL

Did anyone see the monster in the background at coney island fall into the water at the end?

Apparently it's a satellite which falls, and awakens the million year old creature.
I read something about it, and the mini creatures came off it like they do with some whales.

I think it's to do with the company Rob was going to work for in Japan. They make a drink called Slusho and it needs an ingredient from underwater, or so I heard. That may be what the satellite was dropped into the water for. Also, there's a video on the internet of an oil rig being destroyed in the mid-Atlantic and a black blob under the water. The reporter says it must be oil, but it's the monster.

Did anyone stay to the end of the credits and hear the message as well? Shows that there may be a twist :P

It's actually the first film to have CGI implemented with a camcorder.

It has to be the best film out yet,
I loved it, Even if the technique used was weird,
I'm giving it a 100/10.

just went to the cinema in Xscape with friends. It was very good, though I must say the beginning really dragged on a bit.

Oh if you have epilepsy then I personally advice you not to go because there's quite a bit of strobe lighting type effect. I don't know about those who've seen it but did it give you a bit of a headache in parts of it?

Have to say it was a good film, if not a little short. Can't help wondering whether they're going to try a sequel.

Yes, and your supose to use spoiler tags.

Apparently its a satellite which disturbs the million year old creature.

Also, theres something at the end of the credits which could lead to a sequel.

No but who cares about seats, your there for the film.....

So your telling me you don't care about the seats?
Its not all about the film, its also about the facilities they provide.
Comfy seating makes the film even better because you can relax more.

But a sequel would suck, some other person magically filming with a camera?

Well they could make it so theres more than one of these creatures, and they go into the case of how it happened.

It'd ruin it.

It'd ruin it.
Why would it?
It would be more believable, what's the possibilities of it been the only one of its species?

The sequel could also be another person's viewpoint but that would be boring in a way as it wouldn't be different.

I agree. Watched it from the third row and didn't really feel dizzy. Found it amusing that they had signs warning people that it might cause motion sickness.
