Any links? I found this but it doesn't say 3 months. It says at least a week... And it's not been totally cut-off, rather one cable cut and stuff re-routed.

The anchor will have gone threw the huge pipe that all the cables are connected in, it was a worry from the start of underwater internet and piping, now the question will be, why wasn't it buried deeper or buried at all?

Or reinforced so that anything like an anchor won't do this much damage. But I guess that's not a primary issue like burying it deeper.

I'm from Singapore (asia) and mine works perfect, not even slowing down. Taiwan had an earthquake (it is one of the keys to connect Asia to USA/UK) we had to all squeeze into the japan one and it caused a slowdown. It's very difficult to get a complete break in connection.

i'm living in asia, and my internet is going faster than usual. ;)

some of you are really narrow-minded, thinking asian and african countries are poor and way behind interms of technology. you'd be surprised at how advanced some of the countries are, even more advanced than some european countries.
