I've had different people telling me go to arathi highlands/mountains then STV or skip arathi and go straight to STV, what shall i do?

I personally found STV to be more enjoyable. Why not go to STV then head over to Arathi when quests run out / you get bored?

the thing is though, arathi is 30-40 whereas STV is 30-45

Maybe get the first couple of levels in Arathi, head over to STV and do as much as you can, then head back to Arathi and try and get to 40+. You should then have enough to get a few levels in STV before heading off to Tanaris.

Go to the mirage raceway or do the quests in eastern ashenvale in tree song.
