its 700:1 it tells you in the info I'd look for a better one and a 32" pne LOL
1080i/p is nest for hd

thing is its for my room and needs to be hooked up to my wall and well , i want GTA IV and only have 225 quid :]

He might just want it for his desk, I'd buy a 19" screen for my xbox if I couldn't be bothered, he could be like me and can't stand being to far away from the screen?

On a 19" for that price it'll be a 720 most likely, but it's a good price yeah. Dunno how good Swisstec is, I paid a little extra for pretty much the same thing but on a Goodmans because I know they're fairly reliable and whatnot.

1080i/p is nest for hd
that's the contrast ratio, it's not the hd.

720p / 1080p / 1080i is the number of vertical lines, and juding by the size, it's most likely 720p, as it's larger tv's that tend to be 1080i or 1080p.

Regarding the 360, I believe newer models have a hdmi output.

Because a 28" for £400 wouldnt be that good so a 42" must be awful.
