Hamilton saddened by racist abuse

Formula One star Lewis Hamilton says he has been left saddened after being subjected to racist abuse in Spain.

The 23-year-old Briton was taunted by spectators during pre-season testing at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.

They seem to be acting well against it, our government is writing to the Spanish government as yet again Spanish have abused English sports stars. The Motor racing federation are looking into it and so is the Spanish Motor racing federation looking into it. A good response by all members I think.

Well they had to make a quck response because if they never they whould be branded a racist too.

I'm glad to see that the FIA will be punishing the track owners and contacting the sports minister about racist abuse.

Lewis hamiltion suffered racisit tuants and bannars over the week at barcelona test and the FIA now say if the spanish FIA dont have a full report on there desk by next week with new steps to stop this happening they will be NO Spanish (barcelona) GP or European (Valencian) GP this year.

As states in statements on itv.com/f1, this case is worse than any case in years, including spy scandal, FIA will need to be shown as strong and will want to show they do not stand for this at all and i think we are going to loose two really great tracks this year becuase of stupid people.

I'm not a big fan of Lewis Hamilton but I hate racism. The Spanish are very fickle and love it if they win but when they lose, they always have to taunt and throw insults at the people that beat them. Racism happens nearly every week in La Liga.
