Brojo's Opinion Re: Scripting (En Bref, New Screenies!)

I have taken all of the screenies compiled after I asked brojo "Brojo, what is your opinion on scripting" I then got the following answers. I did NOT MAKE UP these screenies, if you want the screenies from the original, send me a PM and I'll get them hosted somewhere for you. The reason I did it like this was because there was I believe 6-8 screens :p

Click to enlarge ;) Oh yeah, somebody has informed me (Tasha from USA) the way it's written is kind of confusing.. At the start he says it's okay but at the end he says he banned 2 people? That just means it's okay if you do it to make your room goofy or whatever, it's not okay if you use it, for example, to error people off of the hotel.

You know what .I think this is stupid. If thier gonna let peoel script in thier rooms the might as well alow all the extra stickie colors and stuff like that or create a script program of thier own so that habbos know its safe at least. I dispise scriptors. I found out one of my good friends decided to do it and i wont mention is name but i have lost so much respect for him. especialy because b4 they were letting it go on he said he hated the scriptors and all this junk. HIm being a hypocrite makes it even worse.

Lets get scripting?
Since Brojo has 'premited' scripted rooms keylogging will rise, scripters will advertise sites that have keyloggers attached to them.
And Brojo being Habbo staff doesnt mean he can make up he's own rules.
Somewhere in the terms and conditions there is a section about using 3rd party programs, the answer is no.
I'm just wondering if Sulake HQ has agreed to this
And if they have, why arnt they giving us programs to script our rooms?!

I don't think it's a good idea to let people script in their own rooms.
Everyone will be trying to get these "tools" and will probably end up downloading keyloggers/trojans etc. I'm sure the amount of people who get keylogged on .com for trying to get the latest scripting tools will go up alot.
Just my opinion.

I think we are all mis reading or maybe mis unterpreting what he means. I think what he means is yes scripting in general causes problems but there are different levels to these problems. People that just do things in there own rooms or by themselves are not causing anybody any trouble and so although its not being encouraged it is not so much of a worry by staff. As supposed to the people who are out to cause others trouble and annoy them by erroring them etc. I think what hes saying here is there are two different levels of scripting and we need to get the priorities. Its almost as though just go do it and don't tell anyone we don't need to know , we have more important things to sort but just don't harm anyone else.

Although I think we can all see there are some problems with what Brojo is saying we can easilly see where he is coming from and most of us agree that this is probably sensible. Part of the reason people script is to cause trouble if they think nobody is as bothered would they be less likely to do it?

It seems lots of people are scripting! I really think scripting should be banned on US and everywhere else although it's true that if you're not harming others then there is no harm without personal gain is there?
