HabboLake Version 2 Design [Concept]

Hiya,

I've finally taken a break from my "busy" schedule to give my Official Habbo UK Fansite HabboLake.com a well-deserved and well-needed re-design ^_^.

I've come up with this, it may not be that original but I do personally like it.

Overall probably an 8/10. I do have to say that the shadow under the writing gives it a cool effect but I think overall the colour scheme is a little too bland for a habbo site.... Only other thing is the 'HabboLake' text in the header doesn't really fit with the rest of the layout... possibly change that to a more 'block' style or something... the bubbly isn't working for me... :S

Anyway, good work overall :)

The banner was a 1min job whilst I was adding the watermark, so I'll definately be re-doing it for the final design.

I like it. It may not be that 'Habboey' but its clear that its for a Habbo site and its a nice design so whats the problem? Well done ;)

Simon I think its really nice. I love the kinda 'greeny' color, and it really fits well. For a while your layouts were the same, but wow.

You never fail to impress 9/10

I really do like it. And i dont see the issue about it not being Habbo-ey because it looks Habbo-ey to me!
Maybe add a colour changer so users can switch from the greeny colour to a brighter colour? ;)

Looks nice but yes as you said yourself not very original the postioning of boxes looks the same as alot of the recent layouts

I like this but the only one problem is how its nice and colorful at the top but has almost non towards the bottom.

I think this could be quickly changed by possibly changing the colour of the tabs or a few of them.

Since it opened.

HabboLake was formally Mini-I.FM [which was formally Habbo-Paper.co.uk].

We've been waiting for it to be added to the Fansites section on Habbo, but they have been too busy. Thankfully, Habbo have now produced a set of guides for Fansites and they have requested each Official Fansite's information again - which means we will be added to the fansites list soon :D!

Banner looks alot like compact homes skin though :P

Maybe make a colour changer in it for people who dont like that shade of green. Long as you make one blue, il be fine :)

Anyway it looks great! The color schemes isn't exactly what you would use for an Habbo fansite but you've pulled it off well , i'm not too sure about the font used on the banner though ;)

Aha thanks. I have to admit last night I was really against the design but once I changed the banner the whole layout seemed to brighten up and I like it again ^_^

I know the banner is a placeholder, but it's quite an important part, and part of the layout, I think the banner itself would almost promote the layout.. eg weaklings standing next to body builders makes the body builders look even stronger - the simpsons movie ;)
