Well I think it is a bit of a pointless thread especially as he has said it is nothing to do with you which he is entitled to do but I am not sure about it causing arguments. Depends why you posted it really and whether you two have 'history'. Some threads can start as seemingly quite innocent and then descend into bullying which is the main purpose of the thread in the first place. I am not saying it is in this case though as I don't know.

In my opinion moderators should not be allowed to deal with things which they are involved in, as bias comes into play.
I don't see why this thread was closed either.

http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=452522I guess this could have been closed by a moderator who forgot to leave an edit, or Glen has the wrong display group set and is VIP.

How is that thread likely to cause arguements?Personally I would have closed this thread myself. The thread was directed at another forum member and although It probley wouldn't have caused an argument or anything to start off with I'm sure it would very quickly turn into a thread which just contained abuse towards that member, ie a comment that was already made in the thread "If he had a job he wouldn't be on here all day infracting and posting on Forum games would he?". The thread would probley turn quite quickly into a form of bully against said member and that's why it was closed.

Aye i just wasnt sure about that one.
tbh i dont think it would of. I never ment to cause any offense with it and redneck didnt take any offense from that user you qouted otherwise that post would of been edited?
If anything the user should of been edited and not the thread closed.

I support him closing that thread.
You asked him a direct question, and you received an answer, therefore there is no more need for discussion or for the thread to remain open.

I know, but there is still no need to close the thread.

Yes there is.
You asked a direct question to another member, who gave you an answer. Since your question wasn't open to the public and was directed at one individual, any other posting in that thread could be regarded as pointless, as it will not have any positive impact on the thread.
In truth, there was no reason for the thread as you can ask questions easily via PM. I just think you were trying to undermine REDNECK by posting that thread, and am pretty amazed how cheeky it is for you to now complain about its closure.
If there is no reason for the thread in the first place, it can be closed :).

Well you think that the thread is pointless anyway so it doesnt matter if anyone pointlessly posts does it?
How do you know my inbox isnt full? therefor wouldnt get a reply would i?
Also can you show me some reason for trying to undermine him?
But there was a reason for this thread?:s

So your PM inbox was full?
A pointless post in a pointless thread does not make the post worthwhile, so please do not get technical about it :).
I'm not arguing the point anymore, there was perfectly valid reason for the thread to be closed under a number of areas. You received an answer to your question therefore the original point of the thread was fulfilled; eliminating the need for further discussion in the thread and wasting of bandwidth, money, and effort.

It would of caused an argument though, every thread at Jamie usually does recently. It was slowly starting of with SKEEN saying his comment, people would of added to it and then it would of just been an hate hate thread
