It's finally enabled! After further testing, with the technical assistance of paysafecard we've managed to launch it as of today. After some testing, we have noticed Skype has now enabled the access to Premium rate telephone numbers, so we've made it easier for you to connect to our Isla's Order Line. Select this payment method and click the "Call me" link. This will automatically load up skype and call our Isla's Order Line. Notice though, Skype charges per minute and usually when you are 3 or so seconds more than 2 mins it will automatically charge an extra £1.50, which most other providers do not do. You have been warned!

The Client (Most important, for BETA testers anyway!)

I've just got off the phone to the Client Development Team and have given me a detailed update. I decided, its probably best to give you a more detailed update so you know where we stand, and where you as BETA testers stand! I will try and explain each issue as if you just about know how to turn a PC on... mainly for Kitty's benefit!

1 - Public rooms, as in the Casino, Beach, Spa, Pools, etc etc, currently have a small issue where as when you enter them, you see a lovely background, but no textures or objects.

2 - The catalogue doesn't refresh the 3D furniture's. What this means is that when you select a furniture, it will not let you properly preview them before purchase.

3 - You are unable to purchase villa's, or additional rooms for your villa's, at present, which is probably kinda useless not to have so I think it's best this lil bug is repaired before letting you BETA testers on aye? (Edit: The functionallity and ability is still there, just the purchasing!)

4 - The Furniture tables in the database (Err, like a folder in a filing cabinet) needs to be adjusted and merged into our current database.

Once all these issues are resolved, we should be able to go BETA! Once again, a big up to all the BETA testers willing to give up their free time to help us with the testing and patience!

I am working on Groups and Forums today, I may need a couple of people to help test this for me later so if you lot don't mind I will message some of you randomly.

TBH im not being funny, the screenie looks awsome but looking at it for a while made me think that it will have h fixed veiw like habbo. This is not a bad think since i love the look of habbo and will pleased to see it turn out with a fixed veiw but with 3d characters and landscapes!

Yh its looking good, i cant wait, What bugs me if, fair play they havent been able to get the beta out yet but at least treat us to some screens while we wait!!!!!!

Sorry to roll offtopic, however I'd just like to point out that if you can't take criticism on a forum about something then you shouldn't really be on a forum, or the internet in general really. Not everyone who posts in the Habbo section are a fan of Habbo.

The screenshot looks nice & I love the idea that they've done with Skype, it's definitely a good idea to do so. Getting PaySafeCard...? I'm not so sure about in such early days. I look forward to see what solidifies out of this project.

To be honest with you.. to all those that say it will never beat Habbo, I think that just the website is better than Habbo :P

I think Habbo has no chance in being beaten, nor anything coming on par with it personally. It's like Google, it was the first and will be recognised as the 'creator of search engines' for the general public. It's the same with Habbo & MMOCCs being the first of its kind.

Hmm... Bittybay is alright, however their marketing schemes are a tad... Wrong. Thats the only way I can see Bittybay being 'thrashed' by ClubTropica.

Marketing = FAIL is more like it. They've got a great project with great potential, like ClubTropica do, however they don't exploit it the way they should. A shame really.

Also, problem about trading habbo or w/e for CT credits, is that its runned by people who play Habbo and could take advantage.

Indeed it does look great, and that's the exact point I think CT are going to be so successful. They're taking the shortcut to fame, and frankly that won't last. It'll soon come crashing down like a hot air balloon running out of gas. I don't know when that is, but I can see it happen inevitably.

Delays are delays, it happens to almost all companies. Some aren't as obvious to announce their delays though. I bet Microsoft are the worst at delays, but they don't announce it until it's actually close to finishing and all errors have been sorted. It just seems they don't do ALPHA testing.
