This game just went right back up on my radar. It looks like the graphics are much improved, and the tracks look cool.

Now, some points of interest from the scans.

This online screen clearly shows a green A button and a red B button. Could this mean that there will be Cube controller support?

Also, a confirmation on Baby Peach. I have to back up my employers at NMag on this one. NMag claimed Baby Peach was in the game (among other things) (http://gonintendo.com/?p=34347), Nintendo shot down their info (http://gonintendo.com/?p=34421), and now we have confirmation.

Most likely a placeholder date.
Nintendo hasn't announced a release date.

This game has much more content than I thought!
32 Tracks (16 new and 16 remade)
Mii Support
Download/upload ghost data
12 Player Online
Play online with 2 people on one console
A whole wii channel for stuff
Advanced Statistics (Win/loss records and whole lot more)
Online battle mode (FINALLY!)
Missions (like the DS ones)
4 Ways to play, just like Brawl (Classic controller, Gamecube controller, wiimote only in shell, nunchuck/wiimote)
...and motorcycles. :D

I can't wait! :D

any release dates.
I think that you Europeans are getting it before us Americans. I believe the release date is somewhere close to the Japanese release date, which is April 10.

didnt want to make a new thread, heres the characters available:
'You'll initially have a total of 12 characters to choose from, broken down into 3 different classes. The light class is made up of Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Baby Peach, and Baby Koopa. The medium class is made up of Mario, Luigi, Peach and Yoshi. The heavy class is made up of Wario, Donkey Kong, Waluigi and Bowser. As you progress you'll unlock more racers, courses, vehicles and, most importantly, support to use your Miis.'
