As from next season, Premier League teams will be able to name seven substitutes instead of just five. Makes it the same as other European countries. I just think it'll favour clubs with bigger squads but there you go.

actually i think will help lower clubs, as in big games they dont tend to have alot of options, least if they are loosing they could completly change there stragey and try again.

I prefer 5 subs. It makes it more interesting. Do you have 2 strikers, 1 defender and 1 midfielder or 2 defenders, 1 striker and 1 midfielder. With the 7 subs you can just choose two of each.

will that mean they are aloud to make more substitutes aswell or will that stay the same?

Since it looks like they're trying to follow the trend of just about every other European league, i'd imagine just 3 subs

I remember ol' blue eyes mentioning he wanted this at the start of the season... looks like he got what he wanted. :)
