To be honest though, who cares? Not many people will even know or remember him. He is dead and buried as far as the forum is concerned.

This clearly shouldn't be a catagory, yet MAD seems to think we want it.

Well, people ask for a CT forum, and they got it. And, then people complain because it's there. In a way, they might think it's going to be big and popular so it has it's own forum catergory just like habbo has.

Only reason it was changed back was because the users of that forum didn't like it. If the users of the ClubTropica forums like it then it would be best to leave it that way. It's not doing any harm.

I would prefer to see CT in the games category or runescape back with its own category. It seems quite odd that such a massive game like runescape has less exposure than a new game thats not open yet.

That's the point, no-one really properly uses it, especially when it isn't out (if it ever becomes 'out'). And clearly it is causing problems, because it was just released with no reason other than "We have plans for ClubTropica." It's a wasted catagory, with no dedicated members, only ones just peering over it and posting every now and again. It would be less time consuming and easier just to let it have a forum in the Games section.

I agree, until it is officially open and a bit bigger it should just be a sub-forum in the gaming section.

I'd think the best option is to do what they've done with the Runescape forum. We've already had a section for Runescape and nobody liked it so it got changed back. Giving it to us again will just make many users rebel against it, again.

I would prefer it in the games so its on a level with runescape and if they wanted hxf to have its on CT category if I was sierk i would have asked for some cash for advertising :P

Since ClubTropica is new it is a good idea to give it some exposure on the homepage of the forum, maybe it will helping getting a lot of users for this category, just like we have for RS (assuming that CT will become a very popular game as well).

I never mentioned Just-One so don't suggest I did.
If there was something else new that we thought could become popular we would also try that, that is no excuse but the reason.

I never said you did, but as far as we all are aware MAD only created the forum because of Just-Ones past work which quite frankly, probably doesn't exist.

Also, the majority didn't ask my opinion, the majority has the same opinion, that the CT forums are pointless and you probably do not need anymore catagories on the main forum... It's starting to look cluttered!

There is no reasoning behind this pointless catagory and that's very clear. What reason is there for having the catagory? You, yourself don't know judging by the fact you clearly haven't given a reason.... So what you said is absolute pansy fluff as far as I and many others may see it. There is no reason for the catagory other than you seem to think you can see into the future and say it will become popular. At the moment, it isn't. If you had any sense of reasoning, you would trial out a CT forum in the Games catagory before creating a catagory which the majority do not want and clearly isn't as popular as you suggest it is/will be.

So, remind yourself and all your crazy, irrational high-ups to ask the forum what they want. Don't create stuff just because you want it. Because clearly, this wasn't wanted nor is wanted at this time.

What the members want is a forum for ClubTropica, not a catagory. That's what they want, that's what the majority want and that's sensible compared to blindly creating something that isn't popular. That's not just what I want, there are hundreds of members wanting it too :P
