Chavs/Townies Against Goths

I donno why but I kinda find this a bit strange and annoying how pretty much every room I go to I get kicked by the owner or someone with rights, I don't know why either not like I have done anything, but I think the main reason is the way I dress, I like dressing with pale skin, black hair, black trousers and a dark green hoody on Habbo, and normally the rooms I end up in the owners dress pretty much how chavs dress also when in a gothic type room such as Blood Bar or Pweetyful's Gothic Box™ a chav/townie normally comes in and calls us "gothic freaks" and "weirdos" I don't really like getting called stuff like that because of how I dress, goths get hassled by chavs/townies because of how they dress, act and the music they like. Anyway to the point, does anyone else agree that chavs/townies have a problem with goths or people that dress like them....?

Unfortunately chavs seem to have adopted the 'If you aren't with us, your against us' technique.
So, if your not a chav, you are drifferent, thus called etc.

i agree with you neil but you are missing something... its not just chavs/townies that are like that - many alternative types are more open to other types of ppl but this doesnt mean that some goths/grunge/etc dont do exactly the same thing
everyone seems to hate everyone who is different to themselves
i personally aint fond of chavs, mainly for the attitude most of them have...but im also not fond of some goths because they act the same way...

but then again, most goths tend to hate townies. ALl the indervidual socal sub sets all seem to hate one another in some order, wich is why i tend to try and not be grouped with any particular one, finding it preferable to be me, rather than some steriotype.

No. It happens in real life as well, and if it's happening on Habbo then that is just emphising how bad it is.
I mean, just yesterday a group of my friends were eating lunch on the field. My friend decided to wear my entire pe kit over her school clothes xD and then this stupid group of year 9's started to kick footballs at us. Not accidently, absolutely booting them. Okay after a while we got slightly peeved so we took the ball and threw it over a fence. :P Grr and all of the girls that were there as well were saying stuff about my friend like "Hey hit the fat one!" or "get them, she just called you a chav" Pssh.
And we aren't even 'gothics'.

They could be associated, as chavs are pretty much the worse version of a townie. "Get your facts right" There are no facts! At the end of it all, we're human. Ever taken into the account that you should not care because they are immature? There's discrimintion against everyone because of immaturity, you can't do much about it except get on with your life. Right at no point in this thread have i said i don't like goths because of the way they look. But they way act may be the reason they get treated like s.hit because all they do is walk about , **** off chavs which is why we **** goths. A hooligan isn't going to engage you in a deep, personal conversation before judging you, is he? No. He's going to knock your teeth out. Aesthetics are all that people go by when they first see you; it's instinctive, so calling anybody shallow for doing such a thing would be pretty foolish.

And I wish that goth/emo/wannabe-alternative-fashionxcore types would stop making out like this whole clash of subcultures is completely black and white, with chavs being the inherent antagonists; I've had my head kicked in by people of both groups. Self-styled alternative types just think they're somehow more intelligent than chavs, because they listen to music with 'meaningful' lyrics and watch Invader Zim.
