Girlfriend Name - Tattoo

I recently got my girlfriend's name tattooed on my arm and she has mine, I get mixed comments about it from different people but I guess what really matters is that I don't regret it, but I'm just wondering if anyone here has done the same thing or have any comments on this subject?

Personally I wouldn't of done that because you'll never know what will happen in the future and that ink is stuck there for life basically. Unless you get lazer treatment and god knows how much that will cost.

Personally I'd never do it, not just the fact that it's someone's name, it's the fact that having a tattoo of anyhing is just horrible in my opinion.

Erm I haven't read any posts but your one so I'm just gonna be open and say it was a baaaad idea. The only names you should get tattoo'd on your body is your family and your kids. You'll have to wake up every day until the day you die with her name on your back... but if that's what you really want then I suppose my comments don't matter :p

My ex-girlfriend was gonna get my name tattooed on her wrist for some stupid reason, luckily she didn't because a week later we broke up lol

If I wanted to do something special for my current girlfriend I would make her a picture or something, I wouldn't go and get her name pretty much permenantly branded into my skin, the only thing I'd want a tattoo of is the tribal S slipnkot use or Avenged Sevenfolds deathbat :rolleyes:

Mm my dad got my mums name tattood on his arm in Chinese. And yes it is accurate, it doesnt say Hamburger lol.

They have been together since they were 16 so that is long enough to be eligible for a tattoo, lol

not a clever idea unless her name can be easily morphed into some other word if you break up.
i think that getting a tattoo the same to the person you're with is a pretty neat idea, if it has no names on it. cos if you do break up you can just be like "yeh i liked the design so i got it" and won't have to mention your ex-partner.

When you break up, your going to be so screwed because you have her name tattoo'd on you. You should have got something that meant something to both of you, like a rose for example so when your split up it's just a simple design not their name.
