Hi there!
You may remember, last year there was an event on Habbo UK called 'The Habbo Fansite Awards'. The event is returning to the Hotel soon and so we are beginning to decide what Fansites are up for which awards!
We have decided to run the event a little different this year (in terms of nominations) and so we have decided that for the UNOFFICIAL Fansite Awards, we are allowing YOU to submit Fansite(s) to be shortlisted for awards!
By submitting a site and getting it shortlisted, the said Fansite will be taken into deep consideration when we decide which sites will be up for the different awards.
If you would like to submit a fansite to be shortlisted for the 2008 Unofficial Fansite Awards, then please fill in this and post it in this thread:

Basically, every site that gets nominated for an award gets a seat reserved in the awards ceremony room on Habbo. We can only reserve one seat and so we are asking which Habbo should get the seat. (We will contact the site to make sure it's ok afterwards).

The awards aren't being held yet...
We've just began organising the event - which includes starting the shortlist for the awards.
We have lots more things to organise before we can even think about setting the date for the ceremony and voting.
Organising is very important for an event or it can go horribly wrong -cough- big habbo survey -cough-

There's no point entering as the prize last time was used to open someone elses official fansite instead of being gave to the winner.

There's no point entering as the prize last time was used to open someone elses official fansite instead of being gave to the winner. Sorry for the bump, but just wanted to say that's not true.
Part of the prize was to receive Official status, yes. We requested Habbo to give the winning site the status, but they rejected it for some odd reason (I think it was because the new Fansite Rules were being made). Please do not make false accusations.
Also, please note the official status was not mentioned as a prize until the awards ceremony as a "special prize". In the beginning we never planned to offer it, but at the end we didn't need the status so we decided to offer it to the winner.
