Dad gave me £100 quid to spend. I don't want to spend it though , invest it in something that'll grow.

NORVEN ROK!!!1

I would invest about £20 in NRK. They're like £2 atm, and used to be £18. It's likely to grow imo.

Minors can own shares but I think sharedealing then has to be handled by their legal guardians. It's 18 when you can sort it all out yourself and are able to change addresses, buy and sell, have dividends paid direct to certain accounts and all that sort of thing without a parent signature.

Losing him £20. Worth a gamble I reckon.
Any money left from alcohol when I'm 18 might get invested. A level economics and my economics teacher shouln't do me too wrong.

Try to look for a big product that you are sure will grow or something that has started to grow already and buy the shares whilst they are still faily cheap
