Ok so, i posted a thread earlier this week about how depressed i feel.

So, i've decided to tell one of my best friends that i'm gay, one the main reasons i've been feeling so down is that i have to constantly hide how i feel.
They're a very level-headed and understanding person and they've known me since year 3.

It's just i'm not sure how he'll react. :l

I know diffrent people react differently but what's been the general reaction for most people who've 'come out'?

well stop feeling sorry for yourself and actually try and do something to solve it. you're going to achieve nothing sitting on a forum weeping over your problems and your suicide tendancies.

If hes level headed and as understanding as you say, it should be ok.

I think everyone goes through a stage like your having at the moment, well i know i did, but everythings great now.
Theres nothing really worth killing yourself for.

Well, if he reacts badly is it really worth having him as a friend? As long as your sexuality doesn't affect your friendship he should be fine with it :)
