How do you actually level?

I had it for ages and got it to level 6 when it came out and stopped playing but I started playing it again but per game I get like 2 exp and it's really slow for leveling and everyone can jump way higher then me and 1 hit me. It's really annoying.

So yeah, help please :).

Say if you've played 100 games of slayer and you only have 2 as your rank it will be genrally realy hard to rank up. Like my friend was helping me ran up we won 5 games i ranked up to 40 he didnt move we kept playing i got to 44 he still had'nt moved from 15 hes now 16 after playing loads and loads of gamjes but you need to win :]

So say we lose I'll get like 2 exp and if we win I'll get like 20 exp+ depending on how well I did etc?

Also should I do ranked for skill levels?

With xp, you get 1xp per win I believe.
Lose = nothing.


In ranked, you get the 1xp per win the same, and your rank goes up for wins, down for losses.

1 xp per win sucks. So how do people have 30 Skill but they're round my rank? Because they just 1 hit me. Do you get gun upgrades as your rank goes up or something? I shoot them continously to their head then they turn round, bam I'm dead..

Skill levels and Rank are completely different things.

Skill levels show your skill at a certain playlist, eg. team slayer, lone wolves.

Ranks are calculated by how much XP you have. You get 1 XP for every ranked or player game you win, but not customs.

Also, skill or rank levels do not affect the performance of you or other players, this is nothing like call of duty. If you're getting killed quickly, you're probably experiencing lag or just running out and getting shot. Play some non-ranked games to train and get better at the game, it should help.

I don't think you have to come first as such in Slayer. I was playing lone wolves and ranked up pretty quickly coming in top three.

Yeah, with ranked free for all, you have to come in the top three if you want exp.
