Why do so many people go on habbo hotel?
is it because your looking to make friends or you like to play the gmaes and activities or is there another reason?

To cure boredom. That's why I started going on, then I made friends and stuff and it got more interesting. Now it just makes me bored though, so that's no good really lol.

:SSurely you should know the answer yourself, you play(ed).

I started because a friend played and I was interested in what it was, I then made friends and found it 'fun'. It's boring now, I've grown out of it.

I think the fact that they play it because they want to is a given. Why would anyone do something they didnt want to? ;l

I started playing because my sister played it and when she was doing that I didn't get as much of her attention as I used to. So I started playing aswell and she left and I continued on. It is pretty poor though now.

I first went on it because a friend said to and I enjoyed simply making a room and designing like a flat type thing .

I spent most of my time in my own room I think.. I don't even remember discovering casinos and gaming rooms.

Anyway I was hooked after that. I did leave but then I came back after the mass-unbanning lol.

Used to be because i had no social life and unlike everyone else i'll admit to that, now its to fill the gaps between coursework and myspace - boredom. There isn't much to do now on it though unless you play all day every day and i don't want to do that.

I used to play for the economic aspect of the game. I enjoyed trading around, making prices for supers go high (or low) and making stupid amounts of profit from that. Eventually though, with the amount of supers there are now that's becoming harder and harder until on a day like today, it's near-on impossible without a good store of 500-600 thrones. Even then, should you manage to gather up 400 Dinos from the market, there's the new risk of release.

That's why I played, that's why I stopped. 50 Dinos, 40 Birdbaths and 10 rooms of petals sat on my account doing nothing - Yet prices continue to fall.

Thrones go up and down in price despite the fact that there's just under 200 in my room doing nothing, ..Bone.. has just over 200 in his rooms doing nothing and Blamed has around 220 in his room doing nothing.

To be honest, with the amount in the market 620 isn't even a fraction.

To control the Throne price, you'd need a good few thousand of them. However, should that happen, they'd be so scarse Habbo would "accidently", or purposely, release them to flucturate the market, again.

Yeah, but a load of the throne owners are inactive. Callie said what, theres 52,000 thrones in the hotel right? I'd imagine roughly 20,000 of them arn't going to be seen again.

The reason I first got on Habbo is because of curiosity, now I go on to talk to my mates I've made through Habbo.

I joined Habbo because of the community aspect of it, but now I get quite bored with it, lol.

I still hang around fansites and listen to the radio's though... I occasionally pop onto Habbo now and then, but only to use up the rest of my creds on whatever new furni comes out :P

I definatly dont go on as much as I used to :)

Most trade rooms? I doubt it.
And yeah, they are rare for people just starting out.
The whole reason I played Habbo about 4 years ago was because you had friends. Not noobies like today. Not scammers like today. (Althought there was the scam that if you type your pass it comes out in starts, I still lol at it) And most definately not competition to see how many supers you can hold. That's why I've thought of leaving many a time.
