Wen i go to upload it to the site do i upload as a zip

unzip and upload index.html or w.e and the folder called images or w.e

edit everything as you want it, put in a zip, upload it, extract it.

Tis faster

OR use ftp client, but if you want to have some spare time afterwards. dont upload every file one by one in cpanel.

ew uploading files on cpanel. FTP is way quicker

+ Filezilla actually takes donkeys to upload sometimes tbh..


Windows:

Start -> Run -> ftp://ftp.webserver.ext

Right click -> Login -> Enter Username + Password

Mac / Linux:

Tough luck u don't have a built in ftp.
