Does anyone else suffer from...

procrastination.
God it really annoys me, i'm even supposed to be doing some work now, but i just keep saying, er. I'll do it at 9. But i know when it gets to nine i'll be like er, 9:15?.
Only reason why i don't hand in my homework/coursework sometimes. I will eventually do it, but always last minute which means it's crap.
Anyone know anything i could do to maybe stop this annoying habit of mine <_< xx

i always do it, doing it now actually. i got coursework todo, but im like naww ill do it at 5pm,6pm,7pm etc.
its 8.47 and i still aint done it lol.

i work best under pressure. dont know why. its a problem, and it'd probably be better if i did stuff early, but i do a lot of work late at night and i do fine. i did a research paper that we had 2 months to work on in history over the final weekend and got the highest grade in the class.

oooh I never knew this was an actual thing, I just thought I was always being lazy with it, but yet I always do that. Then when it comes to the the last min im like "ahhh no, why didnt I just do it earlier" and ill get easily distracted by things :P

It depends with subjects I enjoy I get it done as quick as I can but with the boring ones I leave it until the last minute

Good example of procrastination. Subconsciously carrying on watching TV longer than yo normally would, rather than doing work and yes I am very bad at it :P School and college hated me.

I never think about doing homework, ever. People at school just say to me "oh we've got this homework for next lesson" i'm like "what homework" It jus leaves my mind, probably do have some homework but I have no idea what it is, and i'll always do it last min but I dont put it off so :P I don't know it, nah :D

I don't do it with my homework, I always do that the day I get it, but I always do it with chores...
like, if I have to tidy my room
"meh, i'll do it tomorrow", i'd call it more laziness than procrastination though.

that's true, if a teacher of mine is fierce, i'd most likely complete her homework on time. i will feel pressured but i'll ensure that i will and must finish it, just like my biology teacher who scolds the hell outta ya and kicks you out of the lab insteadly where you'll stand outside for an hour or more.

but also i tend to do work which i find interesting, the subjects that appeal to me more and so on, but generally i finish my homework beforehand.

I do the same thing. My homework never gets done because of it, my room is a mess because of it, everything. I just keep pushing it aside yet I know I won't do it but I try to convince myself I will.

and yeh im like that. i do it at the very last minute. usually 2 or 3 periods before i ave to hand it in. especially for essays, i always did well in essays which were done last minute.

its entirely different for math. i cld spend all day long just to make sure i did it right. and its always finished at the right time.

I'm like it too. When in secondry school years 7-8 we used to get miniture projects and have abour 6 weeks to complete them. I used to wait until the last week and then do it. I always got it done on time but it was sooooooo annoying. You would think that I would learn but I didn't as I did it with my GCSE PE PEP too. :P

Also, I'm either 20 minutes early or 20 late. I'm never on time!

Laziness is not wanting to do it or no real urge to do it.

Procrastinating is avoiding to do it conciously or subconciously, by watching TV or listening to music.

It's a psychological behaviour because people are afraid of having their work judged or something.
