Is there any way to see how much money I have in the bank online? I'm with nationwide if that makes any difference or whatever.

I think you'll need to phone them up and tell them you want to register for online banking. That's what I had to do the other day with Abbey.

Yeah but it needs to be registered, as HSBC asked me If I wanted to do it online

I went on the site and it said you can register for internet banking, which my mom said you can use to check your balance. So, I started to fill it in, but it asked what type of account I want, and I have no idea which to pick, as I just want to use it to find out what my balance is. The choices are:

FlexAccount, Mortgage, Credit Card & Gold Card, Savings Account with Card/Passbook/Bond and Cash Child Trust Fund.

Which would I need for what I want to do? :S

yer as said above but i think i filled out an app online and they sent me the details through the post a couple of weeks later

do you have that smart card?

Yeah, I do. I'm trying to do it, but it just keeps saying I've picked the wrong type of account and stuff.

What a stupid and false statement. You can get a debit card at 15, I think.

If you're with HSBC, there's this new system that's out called MONILINK, so you can get bank statements on your phone.
