Okay, whats agitating to me, is the person who created this forum is treated like dirt.
Who I am asking? Jrh2002.
He is the main reason why this forum is here, and probably still going, even though it is being drove farther into the ground each.. and every.. day.
He is treated just like he has just joined.. it is stupid.
2. All of his points are valid.
3. He isn't here to cause trouble.. he created this forum for god sakes, he knows how to run it.
4. Why is he not the manager here? He created it.. I believe he has a right.. if he wanted.. to take any person on this forum's position.

Is this because he got an infraction? If he resigned from his position as a staff member, he is a normal member like everyone else, therefore his infractions are fair, unless they were given out unfairly then he should complain about it himself?
If I was wrong sorry - but thats the jist I got from Jordys post.

Right JRH2002 may have created this forum, but he is not the reason why it is here today. This forum is here today thanks to a joint collaboration of Sierk, Forum Admins, Forum Moderators and the most important USERS!. Not one person who left years back.
3. He doesn't neccessarily know how to run this forum today, he did a fantastic job of it before but there is no guarantee he would brilliant today and at times he has been rude, everyone is entitled to their opinion but their are tactful ways of expressing it.
4. Simple because he left, AGES AGO (oct 2005) after a disagreement with Sierk I believe. It wouldn't be professional or fair to just kick J1MI or Elkaa off management just because he is back, I mean frankly I think anyone would be annoyed if that happen.
I had great respect for JRH as he was on Habbox when I joined in March 2004 but frankly after the way he has been behaving on the forum recently I have lost a lot of respect for him. There are better ways to get things done and I know he is aware of it, I just expected more from someone who was great icon of Habbox in the past and also a Hobba.
Oh and btw being the "forum founder" means jack all, "well done you were the person to install the vBulletin forum in the first place" if thats the case then I am the forum founder of habbox world, if only I had made it under my username rather than sierk6.

Sometimes they don't listen if it's public.
I'm neither Anti-Management or Pro-Management, I'm just simply stating.
But then it's all about whether they believe it's necessary... and sometimes it is, sometimes it isnt.

1. Yes, it was a joint collaboration of Sierk and Properclone and Jrh
I was here when it happened.. was also one of the first users to register.. we were the founding community, and up until we lost: JRH, Dave, Mizki.. the forum was great.. other then the few little fights.
Then came the "infraction and ***" era. It started going way downhill, now.. its at the bottom of the hill.. and blasting its way farther into the ground..
If JRH did such a good job back then (which he did), and it seems someone isn't doing such a good job now.. why not experiment with things?

Like I said in the other threads the forum is no longer as fun as it once was posts seem to get edited for the slightest little thing, Infractions are being given out like sweets and I feel as a user I have to be careful what I post because it's like I'm walking on egg shells. Overall everything is sooooo up tight I wouldn't say we need to bring old management members back because their time has passed we need to stop thinking of the past and look into the future and lets hope Habbox's future is brighter than it is at present

I didn't say forget it , I'm just saying we need to stop thinking in the past meaning wishing all the old school management will come back and we'll all be one big happy family just like in a fairy tale because I bet if they all were to come back there would still be un happy people somewhere. Sure I agree right now Habbox Forum sucks but meh we just have to hope they do something about it before it's to late.

I remember when I joined up in early 05. Those were the great days of Habboxforum. Everything was a new experience on here being able to talk to different people about different things without "someone looking over you continuously". As Dan said it is like we have to be extremely careful about what we post now. Habbox used to be a new, fresh fansite but now I think it is starting to be like "an old man slowly dieing". This is my personal opinion when comparing it to the good 'o' days

Habbox used to be run on a myphp forum or whatever its called.
That crashed and Habbox had to change forums, so Jrh2002 bought the vbulletin and managed it for a while.
Jrh then sold it to Sierk.
Sierk now owns it

Anybody can be infracted, cautioned, or banned; status or prior position makes no difference. If I was to resign right now, then be seriously offensive to somebody, I would expect full punishment as anybody else might.
You cannot just say that because he is the first user on this forum's database, he is immune from any type of punishment whatsoever now.

I really respect you even if you did call me 'gay' on MSN the other week for some reason which made me laugh. Thing is that to treat people with respect you have to get treated with respect. That's an issue on this forum and has been for quite a while. You are right it is the USERS that are important but quite honestly that is not how it seems to a lot of forum members. JRH has his own style - he calls a spade a spade but he has Habbox at heart and a lot of respected people agree with him. The person who treats the users with the most respect on this forum is Sierk and its a shame others don't follow suit. He says what he has to say whether he agrees with you or not but in the most POLITE and AGREEABLE way. No sarcasm, snipes or 'if you don't like it leave' attitude.
Makes a lot of difference to how people react.
There have been some imaginative analogies about the forum I must admit proper creative stuff xD.
But anyway.
Thing is, that with time we have changed, the rules were much harder then, then they are now but we had very little reason to enforce them as we rarely had problems with users, bar the occasional person complaining about rare values.
Nowadays we have people just that find it fun to break the rules you know who they are and they know who they are. Because of them we have had to crack down on EVERYONE!
To james,
Yeah I could have cut you more slack that, but still to be fair, adzeh's point stands.
Status means nothing here, even if Adzeh or myself were to perform a serious offence AS STAFF! We would be punished for it and even though this has nothing to do with JRH or anyone in general, our point is, that just because of who you were or are, it doesn't matter on this forum. We try and hold an equal respect for everyone.
Even though I know you guys will disagree and may say names of those who you feel act superior.

If there were not so many "harsh rules" people would not feel the need to break them.
Now-a-days, if you post something offtopic, you get warned or an infraction.
Its stupid, if it is offtopic.. who cares?
If I made a random funny remark in a thread, that made people laugh.. that is a constructive post.. it may be in the wrong thread.. but it still contributed to the community.
Thats just one example.

I am not asking to be exempt from anything here and never even started this thread. If I commit an offence punish me just as they would others thats fine and should be expected.
I have tried many ways to help hxf and it just does not work so it has resorted in me shouting about problems and to make people aware of how I feel and others do the same. Its not pretty but if nobody will listen what other option is there? the all new singing and dancing council? it seems that was put in place to silence a few critics.

I'm not saying all management, or any management at that matter. But because they're in charge now and he isnt, it seems that because of that, they won't listen to him and do what they want to do.

I don't see how sierk can be compared to the English Queen, but ok I'll go with you. The thing is, any member of this forum can be infracted for breaking the rules; yes maybe somebody like sierk would be overlooked in trivial circumstances because of his previous status, but in theory he is still subject to all the forum rules.
If the Queen was to illegally download a song, I doubt anybody would care, but if she was to murder somebody, then she would be arrested.

One thing that really pisses me off about this forum (OMG I USED DA WORD PISS) is that in the majority of cases, people seem to think that time spent here is directly proportional to respect and importance.
Here's a wakeup call for you: its not.
Seniority means nearly nothing. I respect jrh, not because he's the forum founder or he's been here longer than I have, but because he's a good person. I can't explain how much it really riles me that people think themselves so self important when they say "Oh well I've been here for 3 years (even though I've never even seen the other side of the fence) and this forum has gone so downhill because jrh and Mizki have left and I'm going to jump on the bandwagon even though I probably couldn't explain *why*, I just decided to rip into everyone.
So in answer to the question, absolutely it's ok to "disrespect the forum founder" if he's a brat. However, our forum "founder" (I think the original was Mizki's) is not a brat, therefore he's deserving of respect not because of how long he's been here, but because of the person he is. So don't go on about this seniority nonsense.
And this rant about seniority is coming from the longest continuous member of staff bar sierk, so I could use my seniority to my advantage, I simply choose not to, and speak out against all those who puff themselves up with it. Experience is one thing, seniority means jack. SOLAR FLARE!!! or Twiggy could come back to this forum and say he's been here longer than one of our newer Super Mods, but I'd still respect one of our newer members more.
Well someone was tad rude to me so I was a tad rude back and I am now
an offender :( Still I am not as upset as I thought I would be.

LOL! That made me rofl. Simply because the "an offender" was on another line so as I was reading it I thought of it as "so I was a tad rude back and I am now...*dramaticpause*...an offender. I'm wierd, I know I know.
Lol:) Yes it actually sounds better with a dramatic pause particuarly as it was not meant to be a serious remark :D

Very disappointed in your reply Jin, I won't reply as you have, because I'm not as disrespectful as you!

Habbox had a phpbb forum that got lost on a server move so had to start all over again which became an issue. At the time the on VB forum was habbo forum and sierk was not sure on taking the risk of buying it.
We went from habbox.com/forum so mizki will be the founder of all of habbox.com and sub domain to me buying habboxforum.com and the vbulletin license and the hosting out of my own money which must make me the founder of habboxforum.com. Sierk installed the VB and I set up just about everything and 85% of what it is today including the VIP etc and started from no members. I also bought habboxradio.com out of my own money and bought the hosting for it. I did notice in another thread I was accused of being selfish not giving HxR domain to habbox :s I never renewed so anybody could have had it and if I was asked would have let Sierk have it but I still used the email accounts for email and msn at the time even though I never had the website running. I sold the forum to Sierk along with the domain name which was fine as I really enjoyed running the radio. We won the best habbo radio award which was great and were a great rival to habbohut until habbox had some issues with habbo and I found a number of the great team fired or banned on the forum and the habbo staff dj's etc all quit as the habbox v habbo mess put them in awkward positions over their jobs. I was not going to lose such a great team we had built up over such a long time so moved the whole lot to radiohabbo.com which was probably the only option left for me. I do have a couple of regrets over the situation and I am sure sierk might have one or 2 but we put that behind us and its all long in the past.
I think Jin bringing stuff up that he only knows about from hearsay as everything that went on was between me and sierk is a little bad and he seems to forget if I never stepped up and was the only person willing to do so at the time habboxforum.com would not exist today and maybe even habbox.com would not be here.
Take a look in my trophy room and you will see some of the things I have done in the past so I think I have earned the right to be critical if I see something happening that i dont agree with.

I did nothing wrong at all I was pointing out issues and there was noting I said that I could of got banned for. Mad seems to think negative comments about habbox is now a banning offence but I am making positive comments on how to improve stuff and only negative towards certain staff and not the site itself. Gomme got banned for being negative but he always has positive posts for habbox and negative ones about the way its run. I did make a thread of staff abusing their powers but how can I be banned for that when it was true?
If something positive happens what i agree with i will say so and on the other hand if something negative happens then I will say so.

People don't understand. its probably better to leave it.
People think they know everything from what they hear.
Apparently now-days, if you say anything negative about Habbox, you get banned.
Just like I do, on almost a weekly basis, its pathetic.
Lots of users have looked at my posts, and can tell I am not a bad person or a troublemaker. It is stupid.
Whatever, the management can hate me all they want, but at the end of the day, if they would take a step back and look at their immaturity, things would be different.
I did nothing wrong at all I was pointing out issues and there was noting I said that I could of got banned for. Just from reading this thread i can see you've done alot more than most people would of done put in the situation you was. To be frank nothing will change here unless one of two things happen.
MAD is removed as general manager, and someone with a willingness to actually listen to the forum users and act on this for the better of the forum.
or
Members make themselves heard and stop using HabboxForum as much, and stop buying VIP.
The second option i cannot see happening as the opposite is happening. Alot of people are not happy with the current situation at the moment with regards to the forum or habbox, but yet carry on using the forum as if nothings wrong. Its the vicious circle of the 'jump on the band wagon' im afraid.

Tried to do that with opinionsFTW, never worked.. tried it twice.
People get over their "madness" and come right back like nothing ever happened.
If people would continue to fight for what they believe it.. something could work

Guys, I think the point is being confused here. Are you lot complaining about how the whole of Habbox is run, or how the forum is run?
From what I can see, all complaints are directed at Habbox, but involve forum related issues such as reputation, VIP, and moderators.
If anybody has an actual issue with the site, can they please post it so that I may do my job and work to correct it.

There are only really a few threads, such as this one, that get serious attention and stick around for a long time.

When management changed the reputation system there was uproar mainly because they didn't ask the forum members what they wanted. It's things like that which give a bad impression of management. I think this is what most people are complaining/giving feedback about in this thread - including the users more when making changes to the forum.

Most of the times, threads like this get serious.. and stay around.. until someone posts the truth.. and it usually gets closed or remove "to prevent arguing" when its not really arguing it is just people posting the truth.
Okay, I have an idea Adzeh :)
The management should try to communicate with the users more, as I have one prime example, with my post about my ban in the complaints forum, I also PMed J1MI about it, never got a response, posted it in the complaints forum.. just a question thread.. boom.. banned.

But what about if that person thought that changing the reputation system was a good thing?
It is because people do not know what goes on behind the scenes, that they constantly complain and post about how the management are so bad and do not listen.
In actual fact, the AGMS are constantly talking about different things and it is quite common for one of us to bring up a thread or post from a forum member and discuss how it may be a positive thing for Habbox. Right now, we are in discussion about the Habbox.com layout, and are constantly communicating with forum management about new features or changes that we might make to improve the forum.

Yes Grandpa Jack :( (That would be don't think you're too old btw.)
I'm such a cheeky bugger ^_^
LOL! That made me rofl. Simply because the "an offender" was on another line so as I was reading it I thought of it as "so I was a tad rude back and I am now...*dramaticpause*...an offender. I'm wierd, I know I know.
You said pisses actually not piss ;)!
