Why can't these 71 guests join?!

It just annoys me how more people view than join, or just don't log in. This forum would have alot more members if the viewing guests just joined :D

Habbox should make this a members only viewable forum, which might annoy some members even when it has no effect on them :P

They're either spiders or people have searched on google and been directed to the forum, so it's not really by choice.

it means they are not people who wants to join it means they are bots I think.

It does make the figures look better but I don't think Habbox needs what basically is a gimmick. You can't stop the spiders but you could stop them showing up in the figures. How many people who have visited in the last 24hours would be more meanigful I feel and I would imagine its a sizable number.

There are really only 31 guests, as the rest are bots and spiders.

I think they're called spider-bots lol. On an IPB, you can set them to have any member group like admin, root admin, member, guest etc. I think you can disable them?

They can't be stopped though ;). So all these bots could register is that security code wasn't there. :P

The bots are there to archive and "crawl" your sites for the search engine they are for.

Yep. Spider-bots are search engine bots. While regular bots are spam/advertising bots.

Because if you click the "Currently Active Users" then scroll to the bottom, you can click Members Guests or Spiders

then if you click guests, at the top it shows the real number :P
