Maybe they're taking other ideas and putting more into it to make it better? It's what most people do, Habbo didn't come up with the idea of furniture, clicking squares to move, avatars, groups or forums, they copied it all from someone.

Well said New York, +rep. I totally agree with you, everything is so much cheaper on CT and much better. I love what they have done so far, can't wait for the client. I think it's already better than Habbo! Go CT! I think this will be a very successful project.

To both above comments, habbo have not copyrighted any furni's therefore CT have the right to copy them. I am a fan of CT, and as far qas we know thy could just expand the ideas people claim they have 'stolen' ;)

Habbo do hold copyright over everything they do and no company has the right to copy another. Also, it's hardly a claim, they clearly have stolen, it's exactly the same.

You can copyright a book, text, or a script.. however you can not copyright idea's that have been used previously by other sites modified for your own use.

Either way, an idea must be patented, and the idea of a social networking site or a virtual world is hardly one that can be patented due to the number that are now in existance.

ClubTropica has many advance features alot different to the named. Our aim is to bring together as many features that other social networking sites and online virtual worlds have, and add a spice of new unseen idea's, and place them all into one global site. We don't expect to take them all over, but the aim is to become an easy medium between them all!
