Me and my friend are planning to move intogether in a flat and wondering how much on average to spend on monthly food shopping. I don't eat much. Don't really snack.

he said a month lolz. but yeah i'd say about £150, that's like decent stuff aswell, not tescos own or whatever, so it could be cut lower.

Yep, its just me and my mum and she spends around £60 a week.

But you can spend way less than that on essentials :p

i cook my own food, so i buy my own shopping (tescos online), so whatever i buy, its all for moi. i spend £30-40 every 2 weeks.

No less than £100 I should say - you can get loads for around £80 that lasts ages. :)

Hmm i would say £30 per week depends what you get ;)

It completely depends, the national average is £120 a week for a family, so I'd say that two people would use around £50 per week. Just make sure you buy fresh ingredients and don't do what everybody else seems to be doing nowadays and live on ready meals. Sick.

I presume both of you have full-time jobs if you're going to be supporting a flat of just two people. Usually it's 3-4 with full-time jobs. If you don't... you're a bit screwed.
