Hi,
I've currently got a fansite on the way and am wanting to know what you guys look for in a fansite.
This will not only help myself, but all other fansite entrepreneurs!

Nice layout. Good community aspect. Somewhere for users to interact with other users/staff ie a Forum or a Usersystem. :)
First, i think you need a good and nice looking layout.
Then, you need good content's.
You'll also need goodies, as Status Signatures and Habbo Imagers.
Forum?
And a usersystem :P
Hope this helped?

I agree completely. It doesn't matter how good your content or layout is, grammatical errors will let you down every time.
Agreed, maybe a radio aswell ?

I didn't write the home page, AU Habbo "Ap." did. Either way, I've pm'd him to fix that up.
And yes, radios do seem to be popular- one's being installed as we... type... but i'm having difficulty setting up a requests system.

Whats wrong with having a .php page :S?
bk on topic,
i think having something original and a really active site. Constantly being updated, latest news etc. A forum or usersystem is also good as it gets the visitors to interact as well. Then maybe a radio to entertain the visitors :D
