I doubt it will last a week, and I doubt it's a 'maintenance break' they've just closed it until they have solutions. A roll back is the best solution, but I'm sure they don't have that option considering there's been numerous other times when it's been needed but hasn't happened.
They'll have to ban all accounts related to it, take away all credits. They've got alot of work to do.
