View Full Version : Question for you

The sky isn't blue, in actual fact, it's nothing.

When you were young, you were told that the sky is blue, you were told that things are hot, and things are cold. You were told that a ball was round, and a square had 4 sides.

Think about it, a ball is most probably not round, it's just what you were brought up, and everyone else for that matter, believing. It's what 99.9rec% people in the world think, thus you take it as fact.

(:

I'm get bored in hospital sometimes, psychology is good for the brain.

if its not blue
what makes it seem blue

The sky is blue because light scatter through the gas molecules.
And having an arbitrary label doesn't mean something is nothing. That's like me saying you don't exist because you are just a label given by your parents.

It's the atmosperic volume and the way light refracts that make it seem blue.

A ball is round because it fits the quota of what we detail as being round. You couldn't make someone believe a ball is square unless they didn't know what a square or round object was, in which case they'd still see it as we do but name it differently. To name something is not to know it.

The colour blue is actually what the colour red is and red is what blue is supposed to be .
It's all propaganda , there is not real evidence in what is what and can eaily be challenged , it's just easier to go along with it all instead of trying to be the new Einstein :).

I know what the colour blue is and in daylight the sky is blue :) at night its either black or a very dark blue.
Somebody said in a report the other month the sky only looks blue because of the reflection off the see :o maybe they should take a glass full of sea water and see what colour it actually is lol looks brown to me :o maybe i need to visit some more exotic locations ;)

Other way around, the sea looks blue because of the sky.

Blue doesn't exist, that's the argument - not how the sky is blue.

It's like saying 'red doesn't exist because blood is red'.

The sky is so called 'blue' because of rayliegh scattering that happens when solar flares try come into our atmosphere but the magnetic field around the Earth protects us from them and causes them to scatter, the colour particles all get 'absorbed' , well all except blue which gets scattered around the atmosphere so when we look up we see the blue.
Just a little bit of geek talk for you all

An argument about blue not existing could be why is it called 'blue' and not red? Some guy originally called it blue and due to propaganda from schools , parents and everyone else we call it blue , same way we call red , red and green , green. We can easily say that blue and red are supposed to be the other way round etc ;).

the colour blue exists because we've grown up knowing that it's physically tangible. It's like saying a tree isn't a tree. I think it's the colours black and purple that aren't actually tangible, but i'm not too sure on the science behind them.

Inseriousity.

A leaf on a tree is green because they contain something called Chloroplast inside them which 1. Turn it green 2. Produces food for them.

Chloroplast are supposedly 'green' well how do we know that the chloroplasts chemicals have an effect on human eyes and makes them invert the colour we see so it's really green.

Or how do we know that the eyes on Human aren't really as developed as other creatures and they see the world right and we don't due to us not being able to see certain colours.

Tbh everything we know is wrong and is part of an big scheme figured out many years ago during the dawn of time.

If most humans see the same colours and we all agree they are blue etc then as far as we are concerned its blue no matter what other creatures etc think.
Of course when I ask the Predator what colour the sky is and he says green I will agree with him as I know he sees colours differently as i have seen the films ;)

This thread is getting a little confusing for me so will make this my last post and look for something more on my wave length :O no insults pls ;)

Computers dont exist and we are just floating around in a bubble imagining everything :o thats if bubble exist lol if we see it and we know something as a tree or a colour then it exists in my mind so if you want to stand in a park and tell passers by that a tree is not a tree I hope you have a nice life in your non existent padded cell and keep warm in your lovely invisible straight jacket.

I think we should make members have random drug tests to be part of HxF thats if it even exists or do drugs? who knows apart from you people with superior knowlege and access to hard drugs.

Want to know something?
Your not actually even on Habboxforum.com , you're in your bed sleeping and this is all a dream , you are currently hallucinating everything that has been said in this thread.

In fact you haven't been born yet , this is all an vision of the future and you are bending the fragments of time and space and this thread may someday be real.

Things like this thread does make you think outside the box :]

psychology is good for the brain.

whats that supposed to mean? :/ psychology is the study of the mind. do you mean that learning things about our mind is good for the brain, or that you making us think about what others think is good for the brain?

exactly. The sky is what everyone else sees it as, which we call blue. Saying that its not blue doesnt mean nothing tbh, we just gave it that name.
