My dad smokes fourty a day and he's still living, so I agree.
Same with my great grandad, he smoked cigars and he lived to 98.

They may not be refering to the taste I find it totally disgusting when I walk past people in the street smoking and have a cload full of smoke puffed in my face. The smell that gets left on a smoker and their clothes is also horrible and is always there no matter how much you try to cover it up and its the fact that people have huge stresses over someone dropping an apple core on the street which could easily decompose and is a natural fruit from the earth but don't seem to care theres millions of cigarette butts all over the street that is why I think it's 'yukky'

Like I said before Mark I've never smoked so obviously it's not the taste I find discusting it's the smell it leaves behind on my clothes, the cloads of smoke lingerng in the high street and the litter people leave behind when they drop their butts on the floor ;)

Thats where you are wrong. Ive seen to many people I liked get cancer and DIED so ive made my own mind up. I dont care if the whole world loved smoking. Fine go and kill yourselves. I make a point not to jump on bandwagons. I am the bandwagon.

that's what i was thinking with the age thing. future foundation says that in 50 years life expectancy will be 120+ years but seriously, who would want to live that long because most people become dependent on other when they turn 75-80+.

There is a theory that you're only old if you let yourself get old. Take Bruce Forsyth, if I'm right hes about 80, and hes dancing around on strictly come dancing like theres no tomorrow. If you sit in a chair all day saying "I'm old" then you will get old, but if you stay active you probably won't become dependant unless you get a disease or something.

As for smoking, I can't stand it. My Dad smokes, and most of the time I just want to get out of the room as quickly as possible. the 90 minute journey to his house in his car is hell too, it stinks!
