Hey I've been searching around the web for a Website Layout system where users can design their layout ONLINE for free. And if I'm mistaken I haven't seen one. Only downloadable programs which work fine, but not everybody can download Photoshop or GIMP or any other programs.

So I'm looking to create an online system where users can choose and pick custom made designs by looking at pre-made templates they can edit them to their own standards for free. There will also be an option where the user can contact a member off the staff to code the layout. This will be in a drop-down menu where the user can see which coder is "online". Once the user has chosen his/her coder the design will then be sent to that coder to be coded. This however will be at a price for coding the design.

Our buisness plan is to make the project free for users to design. We will make revenue by placing an ad somewhere around the site thus paying for anything we need. The range we are looking for is the teen market as alot of teens like to own websites.

The system will work under iGOboy.com which I'm buying a re-seller for to host everything. Just because I own iGOboy does not mean people who wish to participate in this project have nothing to do with it. Everyone will be equal.

Anyone who wishes to be a part of this project please post below or PM me :)
I'd love to hear all your ideas too in which I can build up a bigger profile of what to do.

interesting. I know web hosts offer free designs that you can customize yourself by changing colours and pictures. What makes you any different to that?

Wouldn't that have massive limitations on what you can create?

It'd be created in Flash

a drag and drop system? it really depends on how much you can do. you can change the boxes appearance such as borders, colours etc. and you can use images and upload them. i cant really see any problems other than making them appear how you want on all browsers. What do freewebs do and piczo and stuff?

Still having a drag and drop system means people can only put stuff in there layout what has already been created by the maker of the program, you would not beable to create custom shapes.

How would you over come that?

(I'm not trying to p*** you off or anything just get you thinking)

It isn't drag & drop.

Lines will be able to:
Be arced, bend etc,
Each end of the line will have a lock on bit, so say when joining the last
bit of the line to the other, it'd auto lock when placed onto it.

It will also have a image upload, & fit into shape, etc.

Hey, basically the templates that are pre-made users will be able to change. The pre-made template is just an idea if you will. Users will be able to change the outlines of the border to suit them etc :)

+Rep for the feedback tho :) EDIT: Whenever I can spread rep lol.
