while i really wanted juno to win, i'm not disappointed no country for old men won, as that is an epic movie.

daniel day lewis without question deserved best actor, he was incredible in there will be blood.

other than ellen page in juno, i didnt see any of the nominated movies for best actress.

and juno definitely deserved best original screenplay, no doubt about it.

Daniel Day-Lewis did indeed deserve the award, he single-handedly saved There Will Be Blood from bombing.

The Coen brothers' No Country For Old Men is without a doubt an instant classic.

pretty much agree with both. i liked there will be blood a lot, but i dont think it would have been nearly as good without him. NCFOM is amazing, but i think it would go down in history as one of the greatest films of all time if the ending was better.
