View Full Version : HELP - INTERVIEW (: +REP
Okay, tomorrow I have two interviews. The thing is I am not sure what to wear. For any other job interview I wouldn't have much trouble in deciding what to wear, however I am applying for a career in the Army and I don't really know what they would expect me to come wearing. +Rep to decent suggestions :}

work with DJ-cookeh eh
jk
erm
Just smart dess code, white shirt, black shoes, tie if you want.
Lol is in a different regiment but you never know :P. I was thinking that but I wasn't sure whether they would see that as over dressed, as most of the guys at the career office (other than the Colonel) are quite "laddish" if you know what I mean x).

It doesn't really matter what you come in. Just don't come in with tracksuits and stuff..

Just, smart casual? Nice jeans, a buttoned shirt and a jacket maybe? So, you look smart but not too smart. If that makes sense.
Good luck though :)

I would say a plain suit. No tie or anything. Mabe have your gym kit in a bag if they want to test you?

Yeah that was the kind of thing I was thinking of wearing :). Just wanted to make sure that didn't sound dodgy to other people lol. And cheers, I am well on my way there :D. At the above, physical fitness comes at selection. It's just interviews tomorrow, and I've already done stage 1 medicals.

Hopefully I'll be the one doing the shouting soon after training. The corps I will (hopefully) be in is probably the best for rapid promotion :).

I usually wear a suit for all interviews regardless of where they are at.
Hope this helps!

The Army still expects you to be smart. I'd wear some slate grey or black suit trousers and a white shirt with a black tie.
gucci everything!!!!
Good plan :8

Dress smart, but not too smart, wear a black shirt and black jeans or something, maybe a white tie? that'll look good. Always keep eye contact and keep talking. Get the interview interested, make it sound amazing. Remember, EYE CONTACT!
Oh and also when you meet the interviewer, give a nice tough handshake and say Hello, how are you?

Actually how old are you? A black shirt and white tie for an interview? that is total social suicide. My brother is in the army and currently serving in Northern Ireland and he went all out with a suit.

Dress smart. Suit, tie and all the rest. It doesn't matter what job your going for your still going for a job interview so do what you would for any other. If I was an interviewer and you came to me in a tracksuit it would be a mark down in my book. But remember what you wear is only a small part of the interview ;).
