EuroVision is always so rubbish :(Agreed. I wonder why though. I don't understand why they can't just get good people to do it then they may have a chance of winning.

Neither's this one.
Wait until the Solo Artist competition. I'm hoping for Michelle to win that one. Her song is SO Eurovision. She's against Andy Abraham who came second in X Factor the year Shayne won.
I'm betting on Rob to win this one. It *COULD* be Terry's decision, but Rob probably will win this one.
:O LOL AT CARRIE. But I wasn't expecting them comments for Rob. It's Simona's now.
Both soloists will go through with the wild card so it won't matter I would like andy to win :)

How will they? :S I'm not liking Andy's song, and out of the rejects, I'd put Rob back in. UNLESS Michelle loses, then I'd put her back in.
Aww, Julie and Ludwig - I remember then :').
Yh I didn't hear Andes song, its got better though
edit: michelle to win LOL

we should have got someone like http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=cIxD5k8WRP8 to do eurovision :( i know the video is an acoustic song, but it shows how good they are live, they could have done well on eurovision. bah.

Aparrently the BBC has recieved over 100 complaints due to the blatant fixing of this competition. I sent mine in too. I urge all you to do the same.

Why can't they find good people? If they trawled around YouTube or Myspace they might find people who sum up the stereotypical/traditional UK like Larrikin Love (which broke up, sadly).

There is a rule which forbids any song being entered which has been previously commercially released or broadcast in public before a certain date relative to the Contest in question.[21] The purpose of this rule is to ensure that only new songs are entered into the Contest, and not existing successful songs of years gone by, which might give a country an unfair advantage due to the fact that the song is already known and popular.
They could always get someone good to write a new song or something

We've recycled a lot of washed up popstars, or even used famous ones years ago. Plus Russia had t.A.T.u in 2003, and FYR Macedonia had their national treasure Tose Proeski in 2004 (who died in a car crash last year :'()
Off the top of my head we had Jessica Garlick in 2002, James Fox in 2004, Javine in 2005, Daz Sampson (who has had chart success with "Uniting Nations" and a danced up version of "Kung Fu Fighting"), and of course, everyone's favourite Scooch who had minor chart success in 2000.
This year's no different with our annual reality reject.
