Because people can't come up with unique ideas..

Oh, also because if someone else makes a radio panel, it gives someone else the chance to copy the code and edit it a bit and call it their own. Same with CMS's.

I've make CMS all the time to use on random sites of mine, you'll find that most people who know php will have done the same it just makes life easier.

Also most of the CMS people say there making on this forum are mainly DJ panels with a news system and a few extra features here and there, there not really proper full site CMS.

Because people are getting the hang of php and found out that its a hell of alot easier to run your website via a cms rather than updating code everytime you add a new web page.

It's just who can edit who's code and copy a feature from a well known brand and enhance it into there "own" system.

The one who hides the stolen code the best obviously gets the more praise.
