You sure you didn't have a powercut?

Well you can have powercuts at any time. :P
Do you wear glasses? Have any problems with your eyes before? Maybe your mind is just playing tricks on you.

Might be a result of dehydration, could be an idea to drink a little bit more fluid. :)

Did you get up quickly when it happened? If you did, it's probably headrush, it makes you feel dizzy, sometimes makes everything go black. It's happened to me before.

This happens to me sometimes if im lying down for a long time. It feels weird. I think its becuz your blood rushes down your body and you have no blood in your brain, until you get up where it comes back again. Sometimes if i play games for too long (vitural game slike my xbox 360) things go white for a min.

Mhm that's right. It's probably nothing to worry about mate although if anything else happens or you feel it's more severe than we are describing then I recommend you get yourself seen to :)!

I get these...
Nothing to worry about :)

I suggest you see a doctor about that one.
I think if your lieing in your bath. The blood rushes to the feet.
Now when you get back up. Your brain need's the blood for your eyes to work.
So that blackness is proberly is the heart pumping blood back to your brain.
As it is aware it has not enough blood.
It's normal though. I lie in the bath for 40 minutes and get out all dizzy ect..
You don't need to see a doctor. Trader's answer is pretty much right. If you've been laid down or sitting down for a long time, and you get up suddenly, you can get headrush and black out for a while. There's no permenant damage..

it was probably because of the quick change of heat (you were getting out of the bath which im guessing was hotter than room temperature) my sister had a really hot bath before and when she got out she fainted.

My friend has a similar sort of problem, she had to have a ECG and blood tests, The doctor said it's something to do with the oxygen not getting to the brain quick enough.
hey I have hot baths and wen i get out i feel dizzy. when I have cooler baths im fine.
If you get up after sitting down for a while that happens, all your blood n stuff, nothing to worry about - headrush lol

It happens to me all the time, It's because you got up to fast, I know what u mean you get like beehive cone shaped things which are black coming inwards, or at least that's what it's like for me. It's nothing to worry about, but you should sit back down otherwise you end up in a cold sweat or passing out

If you're bath was really hot its probably because of that and headrush. Happens to me all the time but only after a hot bath.
just realised how old this thread is.
I get symptoms of dizziness when i move quickly and that can make me go partially blind for a while. When im on the computer for an hour or 2, and then i get up ill go dizzy
Try being more active, and goodluck in finding a solution
not sure myself but i'd reccomend getting it checked out, especially if you drive or whatever.

When you get out, or get up, your bodys blood pressure changes, what you're describing the 10-20 seconds :S Is quite a long time for it, you might have rather low blood pressure to begin with, but it's normaly nothing to be conserned about, alot of people get it.

I get something like that when I get up to quickly and everything goes black for a couple of seconds and then fades. But as you had just got out of the bath maybe it was something to do with the heat? I don't think its anything to worry about, as someone already said probably just headrush. :)
