Does anyone know if REC, which is being released at the cinemas soon is spanish subtitled or is it dubbed? I don't know if they've re-made it either, but I think it's the original spanish one.

[REC] has indeed been remade as Quarantine. It's due for release later this year, but will most likely be syndicated and not a wide-release at all, perhaps not even released in major UK cinemas. It's not going to be a mainstream release.

well REC was advertised in my local cinema, which is a mainstream one. It was advertised as REC when I saw Cloverfield.

Well, I know that Quarantine is the title for its USA release. It had the working title of Quarantined also. Perhaps [REC] is the European title, or, it has since been renamed as trailers to do not at all reflect the final product, and are often released before a film has been completed. It is barely going to be available internationally, so it will be syndicated in America and some parts of Europe. Look for only a handful of UK cinemas to give it some life, with a short span at that.

Hope I've helped.

No problem. It could actually be that your cinema in particular are going to be showing the original [REC] for a week or two, some cinemas on their own do randomly show older releases and independent films now and again.

It's a Cineworld by the way. The exact trailer was: http://youtube.com/watch?v=tqsOaV7NUVM it's quite short. Only difference is that the writing was in English.

That's the trailer for the original [REC]. That means that yes, your Cineworld is showing the original! Cineworld was the cinema I was talking about earlier that shows older films at random times.
