Yea, lol
Thing is i reckon alot of the time they are just playing up to the camera
But the best quote from that has got to be from the guy who's Dad died and he and his mum took over and screwed it up.
It was during the re-opening and everythign was hectic, Ramsey gave him a strong talk and he just turns round and says...
'' One question, Can i have a hug?''
I thought that was brilliant!:D

I'd have lost it with that guy if I was Ramsay.

Man he went mental american geezer charging to Gordon ;)
Yeah, I hate it when they ask for Gordan's help, he goes down there to generally try and help people out and the arrogant morons do not take his advice.
The American one is not a patch on the British one though, the American one is centered around the action, and Ramsays constant swearing instead of the cooking. Which at the end of the day is what the program is about.

Mmmmm, like i said before the american one is very 'american' if you get my drift.
But it isn't just the americans that refuse his help until the end.
It astounds me how many of the chefs ignore him and say he is not a good chef.
I would be thrilled to have Chef Ramsey in the kitchen with me giving me advice.
I love the way he talks aswell, yes? :P

His persona is definitely thanks to the screenwriters. He isn't like he's portrayed on TV, it's a gimmick, to draw people to the show rather than it be a regular cooking programme - it's original - an angry chef. Scripted entertainment, just like everything else these days.
I like it, the UK versions seemed more realistic and less drastic, but the US ones are more entertaining. I especially liked it a few weeks ago when he claimed that the Head Chef was "Staright from the Hood" which I found very funny.
