They might change techremix to TechRemix
But they also do it if they got the time as well.

yes rob but a lot of games offer name changes and they don't have problems. i'm sure MODs would still be able to track following a name change.

when i joined, my name was techremix then after 1-2 years.
I emailed them and said if they could do it to TechRemix, then they emailed saying we do it in our free time, then after 1-5 days i got the name change.

I couldn't thinm of anything I wanted, they wouldn't allow me a name that had already been used or a name with _><*% etc in, cos a month or so befre mine some dude got his changed to "<3" so I'd thought it was worth a try. ;p

I ended up getting it changed to danny.txt lol, couldn't think of out. I re-created Ifu though and it hasn't been emailed or banned etc.. ;s.

Once you have made a Habbo account you cannot change the name of that account yourself. If you want an account with a different name then you should create a new account and transfer any Furni and items to it yourself

PLEASE NOTE: Habbo can in very rare circumstances offer account name changes, but this is only done when the Habbo in question has registered an unacceptable name. Other name changes will NOT be performed, sorry.

I think they only do name changes with people getting harassed with the name they currently have. I remember that Laxativepolo had his name changed because he kept getting harassed.

If you get bullied about the name or if it's inapropiate / close to an staffs name.

The FAQ's lie , you can get name changes , several people have gotten them in the past.

I emailed staff about 12 months back and they said they won't change a name unless it's un-acceptable. And mostly they just ban those.

EDIT: ClubTropica let you change your username for so many islas. Maybe Habbo should impliment something like this? I was thinking that they could maybe let you change your username once every 6/12 months?.

a friend had a name change years ago, not because she was being harassed or anything but because she was now an adult and had matured and wanted her habbo name to reflect that
